Finally got to meet up with JoneBone, owner of OldGold Boutique in MTL, DJ, dancer, supercreator, traveller and all-round swell Canadian with a bit of a funny french accent. Last night I sort of took over the dance space at White Slab in the L.E.S. as Jonah played for what I consider my own personal house dance practice. I have only been to Montreal once but I get this strong strong feeling that his shop is THE BEST shop in that city (and it’s not because my clothing is sold there!) ha. This guy has an amazing worldly taste and I know his personality, heart and soul has poured into his store so it’s bound to be in the ‘best’ list. So if you’re heading to the Real City please go visit my good friend down there and say hi for me and I promise you will want to be friends with him too!! This is one of my fave vids by Jonah and Hatchmatic… Go peep the rest on the site, along with music mixes, online goods, etc etc etc and you will be entertained for the day.
